  5. The Container Tracking System (CTS) is a state-of-the-art system which is used
  6. to track reusable containers. It can be used to automatically track beer kegs,
  7. natural gas bottles, soda canisters, hazardous waste containers, and any other
  8. reusable containers. CTS can be used to track reusable containers from the
  9. filling process, to warehousing through shipping, to primary and secondary
  10. distribution, to final return. It also allows a user to monitor container
  11. inventory, to recover lost containers, to identify distributors that have
  12. retained overdue containers and to identify exact locations of containers at
  13. any particular time. The CTS uses bar code technology to uniquely identify each
  14. reusable container. The CTS supports the use of fixed head scanners, scanning
  15. guns and scanning wands, and hand-held data collection devices. The CTS system
  16. can be adopted to support special RF identification equipment. The CTS software
  17. runs on a standard PC/80286 or PC/80386 platform running under the SCO XENIX
  18. environment.
